Profile
The specialization in Consulting trains professionals and advisors so they are able to understand the functioning of international companies and institutions, and work effectively in multicultural and interdisciplinary consulting firms.
By studying theories, models and real-life situations, the programme trains open-minded and internationally-oriented advisors to be able to deal with many different problems in complex and global environments.
The course provides both the knowledge and methodological tools needed to work as financial, tax, strategic, operational and management consultants in different organizations (public and private firms and institutions).
The First year provides the fundamentals of economic theory, economic history and private law. It also includes courses on mathematics, philosophy and business economics.
The Second year focuses on international accounting, and business and organization management. It also provides the students with the basic tools for understanding financial and quantitative analysis, competition law and macroeconomics.
The Third year focuses on advanced courses in comparative corporate governance, corporate tax advisory, data analysis and forecasting. It also covers specific topics such as marketing & digital communication, business valuation, and organizational behaviour.
The consulting specialization offers two English Language courses (basic and advanced) to both actively support the students in facing the language barrier and increase the chance of on-time graduation.
The course offers, within every year, a set of workshops, seminars and laboratories on specific topics such as entrepreneurship, sustainability, artificial intelligence and business ethics. A number of other activities – such as international internships, tutoring, Social Responsibility Programme and group coaching – provide on-the-job experience and prepare the students for the Master of Science and their working life.
