The programme “French Philology” offers simultaneous studies of two Romanic and German languages. The goal of the programme is to prepare multi-competence specialists, who have not only a good command of two Romance languages but know also the history, geography, culture, economics and politics of the respective language-speaking countries. The studies of the specific area, courses for professional purposes (translation, business language, language teaching methodology), basics of economics and law, diplomacy, politics, academic studies and research. The programme envisages students’ mobility within the framework of Erasmus in the institutions of higher learning of France, Belgium, Italy, Spain and Germany. Some courses have been delivered by guest lecturers. After successful completion of the programme, graduates may pursue further studies in the Master’s degree programme ‘Romance Languages and Culture’ or any other relevant programme.
Admissions Requirements
General secondary school diploma/certificate, Motivation letter, CV, Passport copy. As a part of the admission process applicants will be asked to participate in an online interview.
