By majoring in Studio Arts, students will develop their creativity through various art courses, including art restoration and conservation, photography, painting, and sculpture. Students studying studio art will explore both contemporary and traditional approaches to art making as part of Marist’s comprehensive Studio Arts Major curriculum. Marist Italy prepares Studio Arts students for the competitive labor market by focusing on developing students’ art skills and providing the tools necessary for success within their chosen field. Students majoring in Studio Arts have gone on to pursue careers as illustrators, art directors, and 3D modelers.
Admissions Requirements
Secondary School transcript (official English translation into the US system), personal essay, portfolio and telephone interview with a Marist staff member. The estimated length of the interview is 10-15 minutes.
