The Research Master’s programme in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Amsterdam offers a broad selection of tracks that investigate all aspects of the field, from the molecule to the mind. The programme is unique in its interdisciplinary perspective that incorporates the fields of neuroscience, neurology, psychology, behavioural economics, linguistics, logic, computation and philosophy. The brain is an immensely powerful and intricate processing device dedicated to the selection, perception, transformation and storage of the indispensable information we use to interact with our ever-changing, dynamic environment.Students benefit from the wide-ranging, leading expertise available at the Amsterdam Brain and Cognition Center (ABC), the different research labs at the UvA and from the opportunity to participate in research projects led by internationally renowned ABC researchers. The Research Master’s programme in Brain and Cognitive Sciences forms a challenging, interdisciplinary and international arena in which highly motivated researchers and students endeavour to understand the brain, its development and its disorders.

Admissions Requirements
A bachelor degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on the American system is required. Deadline for admissions is January 31.
