In the Master’s degree programme in Aviation you will learn about different aspects of aircraft construction with a focus on the application of fibre-composite and hybrid materials. You will apply your knowledge of the various different materials used in aircraft construction to lightweight construction and manufacturability of the complete aircraft. This subject area is rounded off with a course on the topic of certification and approval. On completion of this key subject area, you will be in the position to apply your technical knowledge directly at an aircraft or system manufacturer.We provide you with in-depth knowledge of the complex systems that have become indispensable for today’s aircraft. This ranges from jet engines and combustion engines to avionics and flight control systems. Key elements include data buses, computer systems and flight control systems, which process sensor data and calculate control commands for electro-hydraulic or electro-mechanical actuators. You will learn about all the necessary systems and elements as well as their detailed functions.In the field of aviation management you will acquire business administration skills – especially the knowledge relevant for flight operations. Your know-how about the special features of the aerospace industry will enable you to work in aerospace companies in the areas of development, production, maintenance and training. You will also be made familiar with the management of airlines and airports as well as topics of modern air-traffic management. The entire programme contents will be communicated in English, since the aerospace industry operates internationally.

Applicants need a bachelor’s degree with major in relevant field. Application deadline for non EU students is January 24.
