At the start of the programme, you will select a field of biomedical technology and a corresponding research group which is closely associated with the MIRA Institute for Biomedical Technology and Technical Medicine. The programme consists of a mix of core courses and electives, enabling you to create your own personalized Master’s programme (subject to thesis committee approval). Together with your graduation professor, you will draw up a course list that forms a coherent programme, reflecting your individual interests and the contents of your graduation project. The programme includes an internship and culminates in a thesis based on a research project.The general curriculum is as follows:20 credits of compulsory courses by specialization35 credits of elective courses15 credits devoted to external internship45 credits devoted to graduation assignment and thesisDuring the programme you can specialize in one of the following tracks: -Bioengineering technologies is about developing technologies that can contribute to the recovery of diseased of damaged tissue, such as bone, blood vessels or organs.-Imaging and in vitro diagnostics focuses on techniques for visualizing and interpreting the processes in cells and bodies (such as acoustics, ultrasound, radiation and magnetism).-Physiological signals and systems focuses on the central nervous system: for example, you analyze models of the brain, or you examine how electrical stimuli can repair disturbed body functions;-Biorobotics is about the application of robotics and mechatronics in medicine and healthcare, which you investigate from a mechatronic point of view.

Admissions Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency (TOEFL 90 and IELTS 6.5).Undergraduate GPA is evaluated and typical requires at least a 2.7 average. Admission Deadline: May 1 and October 1
