Chemistry is an ever-growing field of central importance in society, even in areas that are not traditionally associated with Chemistry. The demand for people with good knowledge of Chemistry is growing, and the labour market for students with a Master’s degree in Chemistry is strong.The programme also enables you to study other subjects within the natural sciences, such as Biology, Physics, Earth Science, Mathematics and Computer Science. Many research areas are interdisciplinary in nature, bridging traditional disciplinary boundaries. Some examples are Environmental Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Materials Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry and Marine Chemistry.In your second year, you will complete a degree project corresponding to 30, 45 or 60 higher education credits, implying a total of 90, 75 or 60 higher education credits of coursework. It is possible to make certain changes that will allow you to complete courses during the second year. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with a major in Science, chemistry, or equal qualifications.Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency.Application deadline for non EU students is January 15.
