HDK- School of Design and Crafts offers a joint programme in Crafts at advanced level for you who wish to develop your artistry within ceramic art, jewellery art and design or textile art. Here you get the opportunity to deepen your knowledge within your artistic field and at the same time be part of the current discussions regarding mutual and specific questions within the field of craft, art and society.The artistic practice is central to the education. Each student will formulate and carry through individual artistic Projects under the supervision of professors, lecturers and technicians. The programme offers you freedom to plan and structure your own studies. Independence and ability to take initiative is thus essential.At HDK you will have access to well-equipped workshops in the central of Gothenburg.Collaboration with other students as well as with external partners will contribute to sharpening your awareness about your own work and the role you choose, in an artistic as well as in a social and ethical perspective. Individual studio work will be combined with individual and group-run throughs, oral and written presentations, theoretical discussions and seminars to provide students with Tools for analyzing their work.The programme will be concluded with an examination Project.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with a major in Fine Arts or equivalent.Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency.Application deadline for non EU students is January 15.
