Economics and Finance

The academic program for the master’s degree in Economics and Finance allows graduates to acquire the necessary expertise in mathematical and statistical tools as well as the advanced knowledge needed for a successful national or international career in the economic and financial field, with special emphasis on the role of markets and financial intermediaries. Economics and Finance provides cutting edge preparation in techniques for price formation, securities trading, management of corporate finance and extraordinary transactions as well as the ability to understand the more meaningful connections with existing prospects and trends in macroeconomics and international finance.There are three possible majors in the program, one in Italian in Banche e intermediari finanziari (Banks and Financial Intermediaries) and two in English: Finance and Economics, the latter including the RoME specialization program.
