Students have an interdisciplinary scientific training in the evolution of organisms. Knowledge about the evolution of the living organism from the various organisms, from molecules to populations of organisms. Analytical and synthetic skills in the investigation of evolutionary processes as well as general skills in the collection, administration, evaluation, presentation and discussion of data. The focus of the study is the combination of the three sub-areas Population Genetics, Quantitative Biology and Systems Biology, and Evolutionary Developmental Biology (EvoDevo) and Molecular Evolution. The study supports the interdisciplinary networking of biological disciplines with quantitative training directions such as mathematics, statistics and computer science.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree with major in relevant field. Application deadline for non EU students is May 3.
