Profile
The International Master’s Programme in Information Technology and Learning addresses the challenges implied by the advancements of information technologies and their consequences for learning and education in organisations and educational institutions. The programme gives you the opportunity to develop your competences to work with the design of digital environments as well as applying theoretical tools and perspectives for analysing learning and communication with digital technologies. First you will take an introductory course, introducing technology, knowledge and learning as a field of knowledge and application. This is followed by a course addressing issues on literacy in a digital world. In the third course you will learn about applied methods and design for information technologies and learning. The fourth course will focus on digital tools for communication and learning. The programme has two optional courses during the second year allowing for developing your profile before the concluding master’s thesis. In your master thesis you can further develop your profile in either of the two fields: Education with Specialization in Learning, Communication and Information Technology or Applied Information Technology.
