Profile
The program offers two broad 15 ECTS courses. These courses are mandatory for the Master’s Degree in Marine Science. The first course gives an historical perspective on local and global changes in the marine environment. The second course deals with marine projects, including marine measurement techniques and methods. Students without a marine background are strongly encouraged to start with a basic course in marine science. Each student will get an individual study plan including courses in physical oceanography, marine biology or marine geology, depending on the background of the student.The individual study plan also includes a thesis project, which is carried out in cooperation with one or several marine researchers. The thesis project should be 30 – 60 ECTS. A master’s degrees requires a total of 120 ECTS.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with a major in marine sciences, biology, chemistry, oceanography or Earth science.Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency.Application deadline for non EU students is January 15.
