Profile
The curriculum of our programme is designed to prepare the student for their further career in the field of engineering and other related areas. The programme focuses on theoretical knowledge in various fields of engineering and developing the ability to work and make decisions autonomously. Although the curriculum focuses on theoretical knowledge of engineering disciplines, we also concentrate on developing creativity and critical thinking through project based learning. The graduate will gain broad theoretical and practical knowledge of various engineering disciplines. Thanks to the curriculum, they will understand the overlap between individual areas, and will be able to solve complex engineering problems, while being able to consider several different aspects of design, processes, or management. The graduate will exhibit well-developed skills in critical thinking and therefore will be able to select scientific methods that will help him/her to solve practical problems. Our graduate should be able to work on a task autonomously (studying a specific issue in detail) or within a team; they should be able to engage in a professional dialogue. The graduate should become competent in critical thinking and should be able to use appropriate engineering approaches suitable for a given project. Thanks to these projects, which include real outputs, they should be able to consider the economic and ecological aspects of the proposed solution. Our graduate will be able to present the results of their scientific work in front of an audience as well as in writing, and thanks to working on the engineering projects, they will become proficient in interpersonal competences and soft skills.
