Periodontology

In cooperation with the Medical Faculty of RWTH Aachen University and the Clinic for Dental Conservation, Periodontology and Preventive Dentistry of Uniklinik RWTH Aachen, RWTH International Academy offers the postgraduate master program M. Sc. Periodontology. Scientific director of the program is Professor Dr. med. dent. Andreas Braun, Director of the Clinic for Dental Conservation, Periodontology and Preventive Dentistry of the Uniklinik RWTH Aachen.This Master’s program is designed as a post-graduate continuation of a first professional university degree in the field of dentistry and aims at in-depth, professional specialization in the treatment of periodontal diseases. In the course, students acquire practical training in diagnostics, prevention and non-surgical treatment of periodontal diseases. In addition, students receive in-depth, practical training in operative procedures (periodontal surgery).The course offers dentists the opportunity to become highly qualified specialists in the area of periodontology.
