Profile
The Institute for Petroleum and Natural Gas Technology is one of the few of its kind in the German-speaking world. With the Petroleum Engineering course, it is Germany’s only institute which is specifically designed for the fields of drilling and production technology, storage technology as well as for the transport and distribution of natural gas. This consecutive course is divided into a Bachelor and a Master program. The Master program is internationally oriented and is therefore offered in English as well as the specialist courses in the Bachelor program. It includes an international semester at a partner university. Due to the great demand for well-trained engineers in the field of oil and gas technology, this training is largely by external lecturers and the possibility of a dual program supported by the industry.
