If you want to make a difference in the world, the field of public health is a good place to start.
Our Master of Public Health course focuses on epidemiological and statistical concepts as well as understanding the principles, philosophy and strategies underpinning health promotion that are applicable to public health practice and research around the globe.
You’ll learn how to design and carry out public health research. You’ll also learn about the underlying principles, theories, concepts and practices of ethnography and its application to healthcare delivery and improvement.
Following the taught component, you’ll undertake a dissertation that will reflect your integrative, analytical and critical skills through a topic related to public health, either by using data to explore and draw conclusions or completing a narrative review.
