Systematic Integration of Processes in Healthcare

The study program Systematic Integration of Processes in Healthcare mainly prepares practically oriented graduates combining medical knowledge with technical and economic knowledge. This is an essential condition of a successful management of any healthcare facility.The aim of the study is to introduce the students to the principles of activities and possibilities of an application of medical devices including ICT in medicine. A great emphasis is given on the assessment of medical technology (HTA), which means collecting and evaluating information concerning medical, economic, social and ethical impacts of an implementation of medical technologies with the aim to maximise the benefits within the limited resources and increase the effectiveness. Moreover, the student gains necessary knowledge in organisation and management of healthcare, economy of healthcare, and quality of healthcare. The study program is compiled to allow the students to master practical skills necessary for performance of the profession, while it is based on the necessary theoretical knowledge.Education is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The practical part is provided by the system of trainings and internships in healthcare facilities.
