The growing global socio-political requirements for solutions concerning water supply and environmental investments in the water sector have increased the demand for well-qualified and internationally oriented engineers. WAREM is particularly suited to satisfy and answer these demands by covering the following main areas:Groundwater Management and GeohydrologyHydraulic Engineering and River Basin ManagementSanitary Engineering and Water Quality ManagementThe program profits from the University of Stuttgart‘s excellent research facilities in the water sector, such as the worldwide largest in-situ groundwater remediation installation (VEGAS), Europe’s largest prototype research waste water treatment plant (LFKW), and a laboratory hall for physical modeling in Hydraulic Engineering. The program includes many excursions throughout Europe to visit hydropower stations, locks, sewage treatment plants and water supply systems.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree with a major in a related field. Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency. The application deadline for non-EU students is February 15.
