The course aims to provide valid and accurate basic training in the knowledge of the ancient world and in particular of Greek and Latin languages and literature, of ancient history, classical archeology, and the permanence of the classic in medieval, modern, and contemporary culture. The teachings of the Degree Course will tend to be based on a solid but broad vision of the classical world and will focus not only on languages and literature, but also on proper cultural, anthropological, and reception aspects of ancient civilizations; you will benefit from the opportunities offered by the location of the course location in Rome, with the possibility of experiences in the area, visits to museums, and workshops in libraries.
Notes
Admission is allowed also to students holding a four-year upper secondary school diploma issued by schools where a supplementary year was not provided. In this case, it is necessary to fulfil the specific Further Required Course assigned by the Faculty.The 2023-2024 submission deadline for candidates applying to one or more programmes on the MoveIN pre-selection platform is April 14, 2023.
