Thanks to globalization, intercultural communication has become our daily necessity. When two or more cultures meet, they need to understand each other, and at a qualitative level. Ventspils University of Applied Sciences is a place where you will learn not only about different cultures but also about foreign policy, international law, project management, decision making and other important aspects to become a successful public relations manager.
Studies of Intercultural Communication will give you the knowledge in public relations and marketing, languages and culture-related fields that will enable you to better navigate the needs of your international customers, understand the thinking of your cooperation partners from all corners of the world and to appreciate the true value that your colleagues’ diverse backgrounds bring to your multinational team.
Aim: To train qualified intercultural communication specialists in intercultural communication-related field for Latvian and international institutions. Provide studies that meet economic, cultural and social needs. To provide practically applicable studies based on the theoretical foundations of the branch sciences, corresponding to the standards of higher education, as well as practical skills necessary to become a successful public relations manager.
Admissions Requirements
High school / secondary education (or higher). A motivation letter must be added to your application.
Other requirements:
- The average grade in previous education must be at least 60%;
- The grade in core subjects (Mathematics and English) should be above minimum passing grade.
