The BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design course at Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) is designed for those who have a passion for transforming spaces and creating innovative interiors. This course provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to reimagine and repurpose existing buildings and interiors, emphasizing both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Throughout the course, students are encouraged to explore a variety of design approaches, from the technical and practical aspects of interior architecture to the more conceptual and artistic elements of design. Notes
For direct admission, prospective applicants are urged to follow a college preparatory programme in high school, taking a senior course in fine or applied art where possible.
All undergraduate courses at AUB offer an optional placement year (€2,230), to be taken between your second and third years of study.
Tuition fee for UK and home students is €11,500.
Application deadline via UCAS is January 29th.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a GPA of 3.0 or above, in-person audition and/or interview plus one of the following:
- Two AP exam results with a grade of 3 or higher
- SAT I (Reasoning) scores of at least 1100
- SAT II subject tests in at least two subjects with minimum scores of 600
- Two or more IB Diploma Programme Courses
- ACT test results in at least two subjects with minimum scores of 24
- Successful completion of an accredited Associate’s Degree
- Successful completion of first year (freshman year) of University at an accredited University
- Successful completion of a recognised Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Studies.
