The BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design (Health and Wellbeing) course at Arts University Bournemouth is designed to focus on creating spaces that promote physical and mental health. It emphasizes the importance of sustainable design practices and encourages students to develop innovative solutions for interior environments that enhance well-being.
The curriculum integrates theoretical and practical approaches, providing students with the skills to design inclusive and therapeutic spaces. Through a blend of studio work, workshops, and real-world projects, students will explore the impact of design on human health and the environment, preparing them for careers in the evolving field of interior architecture and design.
Notes
For direct admission, prospective applicants are urged to follow a college preparatory programme in high school, taking a senior course in fine or applied art where possible.
All undergraduate courses at AUB offer an optional placement year (€2,230), to be taken between your second and third years of study.
Tuition fee for UK and home students is €11,500.
Application deadline via UCAS is January 29th.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a GPA of 3.0 or above, in-person audition and/or interview plus one of the following:
- Two AP exam results with a grade of 3 or higher
- SAT I (Reasoning) scores of at least 1100
- SAT II subject tests in at least two subjects with minimum scores of 600
- Two or more IB Diploma Programme Courses
- ACT test results in at least two subjects with minimum scores of 24
- Successful completion of an accredited Associate’s Degree
- Successful completion of first year (freshman year) of University at an accredited University
- Successful completion of a recognised Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Studies.
