An interdisciplinary major, Communication deals with the function, processes, and analysis of human communication from one-on-one interactions to global networks.
Communication students are engaged in both analyzing and creating verbal, non-verbal, visual, and social messages and meanings. They learn to design messages for specific audiences, interpret mediated messages of all kinds, and act as mediators between different organizations and cultures. Communication internship and independent study opportunities give students the chance to apply their skills in journalistic forums and social media.
Students are prepared for graduate work in communication theory, media studies, film and cinematography, journalism, and information systems. They are also ready for professional careers in video, print and electronic media, advertising, information systems, etc.

EUR 8,600 per year in the 3rd and 4th year.
Application deadline for students applying from Hungary and countries for which no visa is required is July 31 (Applications submitted after June 30 will be considered on a case-by-case basis).
Deadline: December 15 for all prospective students (Spring Semester).
Admissions Requirements
Completion of secondary education and eligibility for entry into an institution of higher education according to the education laws of your home country or Diploma of Graduation from High School and adequate scores on one of the American college-bound exams (SAT or ACT).
