Choose from a range of arts subjects for a degree with multifaceted perspectives. You’ll examine areas central to contemporary society, including tradition, culture, theology, law, politics, communication, human-environment relations, and human behavior. You’ll have the option to take a year abroad, extending your degree to four years and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Joint Honours) International.
Internship Year; You can opt to apply for a year-long INTRA work placement in Year Three. This will give you a unique opportunity to enhance your CV, increase your employability and experience the relevance of your studies in the real world. Media Studies: You’ll learn how we are shaped by culture, about the social and economic pressures on media organizations, and the way mass media are used by governments, corporations, and others to influence us as citizens and as consumers.
English: You’ll engage with a wide range of literature and become familiar with the vital characteristics and contexts of drama, poetry, film, and fiction.
Politics: You’ll study areas as diverse as international political economy, international development, the politics of climate change, politics of the Middle East, Chinese foreign policy, and conflict, security, and peace.

Student Contribution: €3,043 per annum.All Non-EU candidates are advised to apply early, as places are limited.
Application deadline for EU students is February 1 or May 1.
Admissions Requirements
High school diploma including any honours subjects with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants who have completed an alternative qualification may be considered for direct entry into Undergraduate programmes at DCU.
