Our BSc Medical and Health Sciences course will appeal to those of you with a keen interest in both science and medical health.
This course delivers up-to-date current knowledge in the field of biomedical, clinical, and public health sciences. It encourages students to foster their analytical study skills and critical thinking, enabling them to research, develop and implement the innovative healthcare of the future.
Students take core modules in Years 1, 2, and 3, providing a solid grounding in the medical and health sciences. In Year 4, students undertake a substantial Research Project on a current research topic in the medical and health sciences. Additionally, each student can choose from a broad range of specialized modules in the final year, allowing them to design the individual components of their degree.
Notes
The Student Contribution Charge for all EU students is €3,000. EU tuition may be covered by the Free Fees Initiative.
Application deadline for EU students is February 1. Closing date for late applications is May 1.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a minimum GPA: 3.7/4.0 plus new SAT: Minimum 1470 or ACT: 32.A minimum score of 640 in SAT or ACT 28 in Maths component or AP 3 is required and a minimum AP score of 3 is required in a Lab Science subject. Applicants are expected to have completed 4 years of English, at least 3 years of Math, (4 years recommended) at least 2 years of History/Social Science and a language and at least 2 years of a laboratory science subject (4 years recommended).
