Ignite your passion for music and technology at Kingston University’s BA Honours in Music Technology. This three-year, full-time program equips you with the creative and technical skills to become a versatile music technologist, bridging the gap between artistic vision and sonic reality.
Develop a Powerful Skillset:
- Music Production and Recording: Master industry-standard audio recording techniques, digital audio workstations (DAWs), mixing, and mastering processes to create professional-sounding music productions.
- Music Theory and Composition: Gain a solid foundation in music theory, develop your compositional skills, and learn to translate musical ideas into digital soundscapes.
- Sound Design and Synthesis: Explore the fascinating world of sound design, learn to create and manipulate sounds using synthesizers and samplers, and craft captivating sonic textures for music and other media.
- Live Sound and Performance: Gain the knowledge and skills required for live sound reinforcement, understand the intricacies of live audio systems, and learn to mix live performances for optimal sound quality.

Application deadline for EU students is mid January.
Tuition fee for UK students is €10,850.
Admissions Requirements
American High School / Secondary School Diploma with: 2.7 GPA and below - Foundation entry; 3.2 GPA and above - no additional test required; 2.8 to 3.1 GPA - one of the following tests in any subjects would be required:
SAT - New SAT Reasoning Test 1050/1600 or Old SAT Reasoning Test 1650/2400
ACT 23-35
AP Tests - Grade 3 and above
Honours class credits - Grade B
College credits - Grade B
Additional requirements:
Either a digital audition or music portfolio and show us the four values of questioning, curiosity, technical ability, and enthusiasm. Please provide a short (500 words) written statement to make it clear what your contribution is to the music you have submitted as part of your portfolio.
