Profile
This study programme combines two distinct fields – programming and financial technologies – to ensure that you enter a fast-growing and high-potential job market with strong, innovation-driven knowledge and well-developed personal skills.
Teaching programming is something that Vilnius Business College is proud of. More than 20 years of experience, a team of professional lecturers and a focus on practical knowledge have brought, and continue to bring, excellent results. You can be sure that by studying in this international study programme you will get a strong foundation in several programming languages, knowledge of programming internal and external interfaces, designing application systems, etc.
Fintech is a special field that requires specific knowledge and skills such as communication, teamwork, self-learning and determination to achieve results. You will develop these skills through project-based learning, where you and your team will go through all the stages of a project and develop it together with other international students from various fields.
You’ll get a good foundation of financial knowledge and an understanding of how this market works, so that you can combine information from both areas and work in a specific fintech field, with the aim of making financial services accessible to as many people as possible. This includes both traditional financial transactions such as saving, investing, loans, and 21st century financial technologies such as cryptocurrency and blockchain. Through programming and technology, you will learn how to create solutions by being able to prepare, analyse and evaluate the data you receive.
