The programme spans the basic areas of physics, electronics, mathematics, and software, focusing on a wide range of practical applications in such areas as radio electronic and telecommunications systems, computer systems and networks, and transport telematics systems. The main objective of the programme is to train future professionals with good knowledge and skills in telecommunications and electronics, as well as in the area of computer science and network technologies. The main directions of the study programme are Types of Computer Networks, Hardware Components of Networks, Network Topologies and Network Design, Standards, Protocols and Network Technologies, Mobile and Wireless Networks, Maintenance of Telecommunication Equipment and Computer Networks, Digital Signal Processing in Telecommunications, Methods of Analysis and Design of Telecommunication Systems, Information Encoding, Transmission and Protection, Methods and Tools of the Applied Software Development and others. After the second year, a student has an opportunity to receive a Cisco Certificate (CCNA) from Network Associate. Forms of studies: lectures, seminars, project work, discussion groups.
Admissions Requirements
Document certifying secondary education and its annex, identity document (passport or ID card) and one photograph (3x4 cm), entrance test and an online interview.
