The Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) is one of the largest agricultural universities in Europe. It was founded in 1 955 and is located in Gödöllő, Hungary, a town 15 kilometers northeast of Budapest. MATE offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in agriculture, forestry, food science, environmental science, veterinary medicine, economics, and rural development. The university has five campuses located in Gödöllő, Budapest, Kaposvár, Keszthely, and Gyöngyös.
